one foot off the cliff
the other on solid rock
her heart in her mouth

night breaks into dawn
a fool sees stars in the day
red-twinkling in the sun

MA EARTH stop quaking
the fools are encircling you
with love returning

is this really dark
no moon & the milky way

in search for her word
she travels book in hand
the pages are blank

the dance of the flame
the picture in the embers
tells all ever known

down your beat wild wind
rocking to your tune all night
fool smiles into sleep

there --- there the bridge is
every so often

layer by layer
she peels the onion she is
and laughs with her tears

die reise des narren

ein fuß überm kliff
den anderen auf festem fels
ihr herz jetzt im mund

die nacht dämmert zum morgen
ein narr sieht tagsüber sterne
rot funkelnd in der sonne

MUTTER ERDE bebe nicht
umkreisen dich doch narren
und geben liebe zurück

ist das finsternis
kein mond & die milchstraße

das wort sucht sie
sie reist, ein buch in der hand
mit leeren seiten

der tanz der flamme
das bild in der kohlen glut
erzählt alles was je gewusst

in deinem takt wilder wind
schaukelt nachts zu deinem lied
der narr lächelnd in den schlaf

dort --- dort ist die brücke
manchmal wieder

schale für schale
schält sie die zwiebel, die sie ist
und lacht ihre tränen

spazierte hin & her
