Abroad 
Claire Gaskin was born in 1966 in
Melbourne Australia. She has been publishing and performing public readings
of her poetry for twenty years. ‘A Snail in the Ear of the Buddha’
was published by SOUP Publications in 1996: Five
Poems.
Neil Grimmett: I am English by birth
but after travelling around the Greek islands currently live in Madrid,
Spain. I have had stories published in the UK, in France, Canada, Australia,
(Quadrant), in South Africa, Singapore, and in the USA. I have also
been on the net with Tatlin’s Tower, Web Del Sol, In Posse Review,
m.a.g., Word Riot, The Blue Moon Review, Plum Ruby Review, 3AM, Spreadhead,
Subterranean Quarterly, Gangway and others. I have a story published
in the anthology ‘England Calling’and another forthcoming
in an Italian anthology. I have just been accepted into the US branch
of PEN. My new novel ‘The Mud Dance’ is in the process of
being signed by a leading London literary agent. A

Tim Hayden is an Australian writer
and photographer based in Zurich. Tim has also worked in the financial
services and entertainment sectors. He is an alumnus of the University
of Chicago, INSEAD and RMIT: Distant
Poems.
Solrun Hoaas was born in Norway,
grew up in China and Japan, completed university in Oslo and studied
theatre in Kyoto. In Australia since 1972, she has worked as a teacher,
journalist, interpreter, lecturer, and written and directed several
films, including the feature film Aya (CICAE award l990), documentaries
Sacred Vandals, Green Tea and Cherry Ripe and Pyongyang Diaries. She
now writes in Melbourne: In Search
of the Japanese in Me.
Jan Imgrund, geboren 1974 in Düsseldorf.
Jurist mit deutschem und französischem Studienabschluss. Z.Zt.
Rechtsreferendar in Brüssel. Schreibt seit ca. 5 Jahren Lyrik.

Trevor Landers is the Managing Editor
of The Zealot Press and his poetry had been published by a number of
international journals. By day, he works for the Tertiary Education
Commission in New Plymouth, monitoring and managing tertiary education.
Trevor has been writing poetry since coaxed to do so by a primary school
teacher and he says he finds it both cathartic and an extension of himself.
Earlier this year he published his latest volume of poetry, entitled
‘To Romania, with love’ in conjunction with Romanian poet
Cristina Galeata. In 2004, he has other volumes being prepared for publication,
including ‘Eastbourne Songs’ and ‘ O Finlandia’.
These poems are from the Eastbourne
Songs collection. His poetry has been published widely in his native
New Zealand, and also in a host of international journals.
Peter Murphy: I write poetry, short
stories, plays and take photographs. My books include ‘Glass Doors’
and ‘Lies’ (poetry) and ‘Black Light’ and ‘The
Moving Shadow Problem’ (stories). My most recent book of poetry
is ‘Snapshots’, published by Collective Effort Press, PO Box
2430V, GPO, Melbourne, 3001. This story is titled The
Cubicles.

J. Pfeifer, geboren am 26.02.1959 in Villach, aufgewachsen
in Latschach am Faaker See. Reiselustig immer wieder nach Indien, 1990
von Bombay direkt nach Salvador / Bahia / Brasilien. Lebt und arbeitet
seither als Maler und Architekt in Boca do Rio, der Flussmündung,
einem Viertel Salvadors. Schreibt sporadisch: Aus
der kalten Tiefe.
Gabriele Pötscher

in the U.S., received a study grant to the University of Graz, where
she discovered the European way of life and decided to stay. She now
teaches language courses and American Studies at the University, does
freelance translating, and, despite (or perhaps because of) the unpredictable
four- and two-legged creatures in her life, has also turned to writing:
I once created a heavenly angel.
Sue Stanford, a Melbourne poet,
widely published in Australia, most recently in Divan and Heat 7: Tasmanic-Depressive.
Cyril Wong is the author of four
