Having notched herself the song of the summer in 2005 with "Pon De Replay" off her debut, Rihanna got right back to work recording A Girl Like Me, which yielded the sizzling club staple "SOS." Between that track and the poignant confessional "Unfaithful," Rihanna was on her way to becoming a global superstar. Simple guitar arrangements help forefront Ri-Ri's forlorn vocals on ballads like "P.S. (I'm Still Not Over You)" and "Final Goodbye," while she shows off her Caribbean roots on the reggae grooves of "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and "Dem Haters." Not to be overlooked is the bumping slow jam "We Ride."
