As challenging as they come

This Heat almost sounds like a different band from recording to the next; on Deceit, they sometimes sound like a different band from one point in the same song to the next. And yet, it all coheres somehow. Looking to explore some new musical directions---simultaneously, on the same album? Give Deceit a spin.

post punk gem

I knew this album from a Pitchfork. Those geeks at Pitchfork named this as one of the best 100 albums in the 1980s. I could not agree more. This album was released in 1980s but sounds like nothing from the 1980s. Jarring, yet intriguing music for those who are fond of left-field (literally and politically).
