Thomas Reichart, born 1971, is a journalist and currently the head of the ZDF (German public TV channel) branch in East Asia, responsible for news and features from North and South Korea, China, Japan and the Philippines. Before he was a correspondent in Berlin also for ZDF with focus on homeland security and intelligence. He has been writing about North Korea since the beginning of his career.
