A strong debut album

"Car Wreck" is the center of this album for me. Haley has a beautiful voice, and her music is at its most powerful when she opens up to the melancholic, and passes through it to joy. This album evokes feelings of being indoors on a cold night with a roaring fire, good friends, and a full liquor cabinet. Haley Bonar comes from Duluth, Minnesota, as does the band Low, and listeners may notice similarites between them musically.

Somebody shoot me

this girl is absolutely amazing. Her songs are gentle and mellow...and the lyrics really get to you. Haley, you have no idea how wonderful you are. thank you.

A joy to listen to!

This is one of those few cds that you could leave on for days and never grow tried of it, Haley's voice is ambitious, sad, hopeful, melodic, smooth, and haunting all at the same time. Such a wonderful cd, I cannot wait to hear more from Ms. Bonar!
