Excellent - Not For Everyone

This is an incredibly inspired, moving rendition of the Requiem that captures the full drama and pathos of the work. Bernstein's perspective is, however, very 20th Century. And, if you prefer period-accurate Mozart, this may not be the recording for you. But if you're looking for a creative take on the work that's filled with vision and passion, even if it's through modern eyes, this is a recording you will quickly appreciate.

Great****

Classical, and very well played, all i can say is, BRAVO!!

Oh Lenny I Miss You!

The purists may quibble but I love the emotional connection Bernstein clearly has with Mozart. This is a passionate rendition that I can listen to over and over. Recommended.
