Musicians
Rina Kaçinari (cello, vocals) from Kosovo and Jelena Popržan (vocals, viola and Jew’s harp) from Serbia first performed in 2009 at Vienna’s Porgy & Bess and since formed a furious duo as the Catch-Pop String-Strong that comes up with clever improvisations, delicate self-compositions and adaptations of Yugoslav Pop hits, Bach & Bartók, Brecht & Kreisler, Scottish tunes as well as satirical song inserts.
