Sjón

Sjón, b. 1963, is an Icelandic writer and artist. He became famous for his song lyrics for Björk, in particular for Lars von Trier’s film Dancer in the Dark. He was a member of the Surrealism, Punk, Dada and Poetry performance group, Medúsa. Sjón lived for several years in England and The Netherlands, before returning to Reykjavík.
