Cornelia Travnicek

b. 1987, is an Austrian writer. She studied sinology and computer science at the University of Vienna. In addition to her activities as an author she is also a researcher at the Zentrum für Virtual Reality und Visualisierung in Vienna. She was honoured with the Recognition Award of the State of Lower Austria for her debut novel Chucks. At the Tage der deutschsprachigen Literatur in Klagenfurt in 2012 she received the Audience Award for her work Junge Hunde.
